Learn More Competitive Swim Training This swim maintenance program is geared to swimmers ages 11-18. This is a great way for swim team athletes to get in shape for their season or to maintain during the off-season. ADULT ACTIVITIES AND CLASSES Anoka-Hennepin Community Education offers a wide variety of activities and classes for adults ages 18 and up, including technology, home improvement, recreation, athletics, fitness, arts, hobbies and more. ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS (Project Power) Specialized classes are available for adults with special needs ages 18 and up. Educational, recreational and social activities give participants the opportunity to practice life skills to increase independence, communication, and community integration. ADVENTURES PLUS SCHOOL-AGE CARE Adventures Plus school-age care is available for all families in the Anoka-Hennepin School District and provided at each elementary school. Care is available before- and after-school, on distance learning days, and on non-school days which may include winter, spring and summer breaks. AQUATICS AND SWIMMING LESSONS Community Education offers a wide range of aquatic opportunities for community members of all ages, including swimming lessons, water exercise, competitive swim training, American Red Cross certification courses, and recreational open swim opportunities at Roosevelt Community Pool in Blaine.
